Enhanced Entity Relationship Diagram modeling allows you to design a fully relational database, complete with Referential Integrity Constraints, indexes, checks, defaults and unique constraints. Diagrams show the complete table structure. The program supports all major databases including Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, Informix, Sybase, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Interbase, Access, SQLBase, Ingres, ANSI and MicroSQL. Cross-DBMS target compatibility allows you to design once and create for all. The program offers a project manager for managing the files that are used and generated by the application. Java source code can be created directly from the ERD to contain the DDL for any of the supported database targets. Source code can be compiled and executed from within the DDS-Lite environment.
